Karen has been broadcasting the Travel News for 10 years.

You would have heard her on Talk Sport, Classic Fm, BBC London, BBC Kent, BBC Three Counties and a host of other stations.

For the last six years she has broadcast on LBC 97.3FM, LBC News and Heart 106.2FM and especially enjoyed The Sky Patrol. She has not only broadcast the Travel News on these stations but has also contributed to features about all aspects of parenting from thrifty living to nutritional issues.

She has also contributed to the LBC and Heart websites, covering Travel News and features and creating The Parent Pages.

Maybe you've read Karen's special series of 'Fifty Fun things to do for Free' in the online magazine BabyMates.

A few summers ago, you could have spotted her leading a hectic life on your tv screen, as a Channel Four documentary crew followed her around for a month to record how her life changed after taking up four spiritual practices.

You might also have seen her chatting happily away on the BBC's Heaven & Earth Show, discussing and describing how taking up the spiritual practices in Spirituality Shopper, changed her life.

At the moment, Karen is enjoying her Maternity Leave with her new baby son, born on December the 30th and taking the opportunity to spend extra time with her 5 year old son too.

She has recently started her own business called My Coffee Stop with her partner and is hoping to carry on helping London commuters, more locally through their coffee kiosk on Platform 1 at Enfield Chase Station.
